Blue Foam Week 2!

Stage 2 of my blue foam is to cut and shape the rectangular foam into the shape of a turtle's back. As seen from the picture above, it is quite tedious. Again, the weather is another negative factor that is affecting our progress. Our class seems to be working like factory workers but then again, there are those that are too tired so they take a nap. Oh well, hope it's a promising session next week.

Blue Foam

This is another new 3d project! This time it is blue foam. Yes, it sounds cool! But hell no. It's a very messy project and it drains your strength cutting it and sticking it. As shown in the picture, I'm standing on the foam to make it stick with two layers. The foam are joined together by sticking it with an adhesive spray.

Wire Project

This is one of the group projects that I will never forget. We spend almost close to a month erecting this durian wire figure. During the process, many of us got minor cuts and bruises while twisting and cutting the wires. However, the final work was satisfying!

Clay

Clay project. This was a very enjoyable but messy project. Many things can be created from just a slab of clay. It is like "Play-Do" Need I say more?

Sphere

This is one of the most challenging art projects I have to do. Firstly, the to form 3 cubes of different kind of materials; tracing paper, cardboard and ivory card. Secondly, the number of cubes that needed to erect the whole sphere was 286 cubes. That really slowed down the process of making a sphere and it took a long time. Lastly, the different ways of erecting the whole sphere. There was the steps method or the hollow method.
